What is the Quezon Business Conference?

1QBC LogoTHE PROVINCE OF QUEZON successfully held the First Quezon Business Conference (1QBC) on 25-26 September 2008 at the Quezon Convention Center, Quezon Provincial Government Center, Lucena City. It was well-attended, with about 2,493 businessmen, farmers, fishermen, cooperatives, business students and teachers and other participants, who gathered for the first time to set the course leading to the full development of the Province of Quezon.

1QBCThe 1QBC was held to promote the Province as a favoured investment destination. It also served as a venue for enhancing the public-private partnership for the formulation of policies that would create a competitive provincial business environment. Likewise, through the 1QBC, a forum was provided for the sharing of best practices among Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Finally, it facilitated the transfer of information from various government and non-government agencies to local entrepreneurs.

We are proud to have been supported in this effort by the local government units, civic organizations, the business sector, as well as the agriculture and fishery sectors of the Province.
