Mandates & Functions

Updates and implement the Information System Plan of the province.

  1. Devices a mechanism using Information Technology for transparency and accountability in government transactions. The required documents were posted on our website pursuant to DILG Memorandom Circular Nos. 2010-83, s. 2010, and 2011-08,s 2011 on full Disclosure of Local Budget and Finances, and Bids and Public Offerings.
  2. Conducts training and seminars to provincial government employees on office productivity (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint), basic computer care and maintenance and system apllications for specific departments (e.g. Real Property Tax (RPT) for Assessor’s Office, Electronic New Government Accounting System (ENGAS) for Budget and Accounting Department and Personnel Management Information System (PMIS) for HRMO.
  3. Repair and maintains the IT equipments of the Provincial Government.
  4. Serve as the Central Depository of all digital files (photographs and Video files) of the Office of the Governor.
  5. Recommend, evaluate and inspect the purchase of latest software, computer parts and peripherals, and upgrading of computer hardwares for use of the Provincial Government and the computer literacy program of the Governor.
  6. Assist in the layout and printing of promotional materials of the Provincial Government.
  7. Provides system development and program design for the use of the departments and offices of the provincial govenment. i.e PESO – Online application of job applicants all over Quezon Province.
