The Provincial Government of Quezon headed by Gov. David “ Jay Jay” C. Suarez launched a project to enhance the Real Property Tax Collection of the province. The Provincial Government also created the Special Assessment and Evaluation Team (SAET) for the Real Property Tax Collection Campaign which started on February 15, 2011 and will end on its target date of June 30, 2011. It aims to assess, evaluate current and  delinquent taxpayers as well as to monitor the revenue collection of the thirty nine (39)  municipalities of the province. Intensive tax campaign is on-going in every municipality, tapping the local government officials, barangay officials and the Dept. of Education personnel involvement in the said program. The team is composed of the Local Treasury and Assessment Officers of the province.  The team has hurdled a total of 100% of the municipalities visited.
