Quezon Governor David “Jayjay” C. Suarez formally inaugurated three farm-to-market roads in the barangays of Aquino, San Pedro and Ayusan I at Tiaong, Quezon this March 25, 2013.
According to Gov. Suarez, good roads will provide people with good opportunity. Products and services can flow freely in and out of the barangays, and traveling will be less of a hassle, especially during rainy seasons, now that the dirt path is cemented.
According to Captain Miguel Espelita of Brgy. Aquino, Captain Simon Paz of Brgy. San Pedro, and Captain Ronnie Solis of Brgy. Ayusan I, “thank you” is not enough to convey the gratitude they feel for the project provided for them by the provincial government. The concreting of the farm-to-market roads is important to the people in the area, and they have waited for it for a long time.
Tiaong Mayor Roderick Umali, said that the proactive stance of the province in providing quality programs and projects have uplifted the lives of many Quezonians and he wishes for Gov. Suarez and his administration to keep up the good work.
A new farm-to-market road is also currently set for construction in Brgy. San Jose at San Antonio, Quezon after its groundbreaking ceremony led by Gov. Suarez, Mayor Aniano “Ariel” Wagan and Barangay Captain Fernando Casas.
The said farm-to-market road has a total length of 920 meters, and total amount of 5 million pesos.
Also present during the inauguration are Senior Board member Bong Talabong, Board Member Gary Estrada, former Board Member Liza Alvarez, Tiaong Mayor Roderick Umali, former Lucena City Mayor Ruby Talaga, former Tiaong Mayor Leleng Umali, members of the municipal councils of San Antonio and Tiaong,as well as the barangay officials of the two towns.
