As continued support of the Provincial Government for its citizens, Quezon Governor David “Jayjay” C. Suarez inaugurated a computer laboratory and covered court at Tagkawayan, Quezon this January 28, 2013. Lingap Kalusugan para a Barangay health coupons were also distributed for the town at their municipal covered court.

1,092 students will be able to make use of the computer laboratory constructed for Tagkawayan National High School, while the covered court can accommodate over 2,000 students.

The 45 barangaysthat make up the said town received health coupons amounting to Php 25,000.00 each – a total of Php 1,125,000.00. The heath coupons can be used to pay for hospitalization at public hospitals in the province, as well as to purchase medicine.

According to Gov. Suarez, without the support given by local government officials, the projects and programs of the provincial government will not be successful. Without their help, the activities for the improvement of Quezon will not reach the citizens. He added that he gives priority to people from all barangays, especially those from far-flung areas.

Gov. Suarez also mentioned that the provincial government is currently allocating funds for an endowment program which will entitle barangay officials with a retirement package recognizing their years of service.

Serbisyong Suarez for Health will also take action regarding offending health workers.

Gov. Suarez took the opportunity to remind the public that they can file a complaint for doctors, nurses, or any other hospital employee who will exhibit rudeness and similar misdemeanour. All they need to do is to take the person’s name, list the time and date, and pass the complaint to the Governor’s Office.

Tagkawayan Mayor Jose Jonas Frondoso said that Gov. Suarez has high hopes and a clear vision for the province of Quezon, adding that he is thankful that although their town is far from the capital, he and his constituents still feel the action and concern of the provincial government.(QUEZON PIO)
