Residents of San Andres, Quezon warmly welcomed Governor David C. Suarez’s presence at the municipality’s “Sama-samang Paskuhan 2012” Christmas celebration last December 18, 2012
In the good governor’s speech, he announced the continuation of the Provincial Government’s complimentary feeding program in the said municipality, targeting children ages 0-4 years old in order to combat malnutrition and stop its prevalence in Quezon.
Gov. Suarez also unveiled the Farmer’s Enhancement Productivity Program (FEPP), which aims to improve both crop output and the income security of farmers in the province. Under FEPP, farmers will receive corn seeds, fertilizers, and a subsistence allowance from the Provincial Government – which will also purchase the grown corn at a reasonably levelled price in order to protect the farmers’ income.
Mayor Popoy Emprese of San Andres and his family thanked Gov. Suarez for his presence and the continued programs and projects the Provincial Government provide for the betterment of Quezonians. Also present in the event are Former Congresswoman Aleta C. Suarez, Board Member Victor Reyes, members of the City Council of San Address, KALIPI Members, Barangay Police, Barangay Health Workers, Day Care Workers, Senior Citizens, and public school teachers.(Quezon PIO)
